It does suck that it's super blurry on an SDtv. Everyone should be able to at least enjoy the experience even if they aren't getting the full graphical potential. It shouldn't hamper your experience just because you still have an SDtv. (I suggest splurging on a HDtv when you get the chance. Places like Bestbuy have some really nice televisions for very cheap here in the US.)

Any article that says someone "basically" said or did something is just letting everyone know that it wasn't really said, but they can read between the lines. Don't need to read an article where someone "interprets" a quote just for an article. If it wasn't said, it wasn't said. Don't tell me they "basically" said it.
No books talk about the Spartan-I program. Yes Master Chief is a Spartasn-II. The Spartan-III program was well underway during Reach so it is not impossible for them to be there. The only reason people say it isn't possible is because there is no mention of Spartan-III's being on Reach in the books. The time line wont necessarily be messed up, people just freak because things might happen on the planet in the game that they don't hear about in the game.
People don't realize that the book was only a very small portion of the battle. There's a lot of things we don't know about the battle for Reach and the Spartan III program. Just because it isn't in the books, doesn't mean it wont happen or didn't happen.
I play every once in a while and hardly ever notice any problem. I play, have fun, then turn it off and go about my life. People care way too much about this stuff.
Great games on the consoles I own means I will be very happy next year. I don't give a rats ass which console does better because I win no matter what.
Uh IGN seems to think the one Spartan is returning to the team when it's far more clearly saying this is a new member of the team. How did they mess that one up?

Trailer looks amazing. The different armor is nice. It's not all MC green. I was very impressed with the trailer. Can't wait until mid January when the embargo lifts and we get some decent details.
Of course Reach will be one of if not the biggest game in 2010. It's the next installment of one of the best selling franchises out there. You can't deny that.
But I still don't understand people's dismay at Greenberg's statements all the time. He's a MS employee. Do you expect him to say that Reach will be mediocre or bad? I wouldn't expect a Sony rep to say something like that about GT5 or GoW3. I just don't get it.

I will be honest, I haven't played the game, but the idea of 256 players online together sounds too hectic and impossible to enjoy. It's hard enough playing a team game with 8-16 people on a team. Having said that I like the fact that they're pushing that envelope.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment if you're hoping for KZ2 type graphics. I love me some Halo but even I don't foresee that happening. I'm expecting a very good upgrade in graphics though, just not on par with Killzone.

Well deserved. I got a PS3 and UC2 for Christmas and it certainly is a great game. I have small gripes, but nothing that outweighs how great the game is.
